that was born in the heart of the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, boosted by the growth of pecan ranches in the 1970s, such as the one found in the town of Sauz, Chihuahua; Of which to this day some of them continue to produce pecans at high levels. These productive fields have been passed down from generation to generation, with accumulation of knowlege, experience and passion.
In 2012, we began exporting our product directly and indirectly to the United States. We were operating for some years at the Iztapalapa supply center in Mexico City, and in 2014 we chose to move our facilities to the city of Torreón, Coahuila the middle of pecan country for Mexico.
And with all these additions, we have no doubt that we are on the right track to becoming one of the largest nut exporters in Mexico, due to our unwavering commitment to quality and service.
In 2015 MACO PECAN matured to become an organization, with an experienced management team and a group of strong investors, as well as the participation of our recent production and our own representative company in the USA. In April 2016 together with our group of investors from the United States, we moved within the same town of Torreón, Coahuila to a warehouse of 43 sq.ft. thus becoming the company we are today, MACO PECAN S.A. DE C.V.
Today MACO PECAN, supplies to companies located in the United States and China. This being possible thanks to the contracts made during this year, with five of the largest walnut companies in the United States.

The walnut producing ranches or nogalero ranches are extensions of land planted with walnut tree. It takes from 6 to 7 years for fruit to begin to sprout after sowing and up to 10 years to reach its maximum production point, with an average life per tree of 100 years. The nogalero tree needs a temperate and warm climate during the summer and cold in winter. That is why the largest nut production is concentrated in the states of the border strip of Mexico and the United States. The nut harvest of Mexico and the United States begins in the month of September and ends in the month of December, harvesting only once a year.
